Breathwork

What is Breathwork?

Breathwork consists of various techniques designed to enhance conscious breathing. By engaging in breathwork, individuals can access deeper levels of consciousness, soothe trauma, and promote healing.

How Breathwork Can Help Clients

Healing Trauma:

Breathwork provides a safe space to process and release stored trauma. By accessing the body's natural responses and allowing for breath-led exploration, individuals can confront and heal past wounds, leading to emotional freedom and resilience.

Soothing Depression and Anxiety:

Breathwork for depression and anxiety involves controlled breathing techniques designed to calm the mind, regulate emotions, and release stored tension. By focusing on the breath, these practices help shift the nervous system from a state of stress or overwhelm to one of relaxation and balance. Regular breathwork can reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, promote emotional resilience, and create a sense of inner peace and well-being.

Overcoming Addiction:

The practice of breathwork can be a powerful tool in addiction recovery. By learning to connect with the breath, individuals can cultivate mindfulness and emotional regulation, reducing cravings and promoting a healthier relationship with their bodies and minds.

Facilitating Healing

Breathwork encourages the body’s innate healing abilities. By enhancing oxygen flow and activating the relaxation response, individuals can experience reduced stress, improved mental health, and overall wellness.

Styles of Breathwork

The breathwork styles Milo uses in his practice are gentle, soothing, restorative, and softening. These styles of breathing create healing spaces where deep inner work can be done.

Clarity Breathwork

Clarity Breathwork is a heart focused, deeply feminine, powerful breath practice that focuses on conscious connected breathing to promote healing of trauma, and strengthen self love. This style helps to access deeper awareness of the body, dissolve mental fog, soften armor, align with your personal heart rhythm, and strengthen the spirit.

Infinity Breathwork

Infinity Breathwork is an active esoteric breathwork practice that incorporates guided visual meditations woven with  breathing patterns. This breathwork technique helps with cultivating spiritual awareness, connecting to personal harmony, and is calming. This symbol breathing style is very helpful for sensitive children and adults who battle anxiety or depression.

Triangle Holding Breathwork

Triangle Holding Breathwork utilizes a structured and controlled breathing pattern with holds.  This style has many benefits: It is deeply grounding, can help individuals come down safely from fear states or panic attacks, reduces anxiety levels, and can help to soothe intense cravings from substance abuse addictions.

Conscious Breathing for Trauma Recovery (Coherent Breathwork)

Coherent Breathwork is a specific breathwork technique that can be used to help support healing from trauma. It focuses on regulating the breath to create a balanced and harmonious state.

Neo-Shamanic Breathwork

Neo-Shamanic Breathwork combines neo shamanic practices with various breathing techniques blended in. This method of breathwork blends ecstatic drumming, meditation, prayers, and supportive ceremony.

Integration Breathwork

Integration Breathwork (founded by Nicole Ananda) blends feminine conscious connected breath styles such as Transformational Breathwork with the power of spoken healing affirmations, use of sound tools, and energy healing.
